Non-Surgical Face & Neck Lift with Immediate Results. Too good to be true? Read on.

I'm a 67-year-old Fountain of Youth Medical client. When I moved to Tennessee from California, I wanted to find the same level of cutting-edge anti-aging services as I had become accustomed to. I learned about Fountain of Youth Medical in Farragut, Tennessee. l had never heard of threading, except about a way to remove facial hair around your lips and eyebrows. But I soon learned that Thread Lifts was a skin-changing procedure to tighten your skin and boost your face and neck's collagen production; I was on board. I have had PDO Thread Lifts four times, once a year. I'm constantly mistaken for a much younger person, and with Thread Lifts, your face looks the same, just better. No puffiness from fillers, and no drawn too tightly look from surgery.

From personal experience, I want to share with you the stages of recovery time. Recovery time after a PDO thread lift can vary depending on individual factors, the extent of the procedure, and how well your body responds to the treatment.

Here's a general timeline of what you might expect:

Immediately After the Procedure: You may experience redness, swelling, and bruising at the injection sites. These side effects are usually mild to moderate and can last a few days to a week.

First Week: Swelling and bruising will likely be most noticeable during the first week. You might also experience discomfort or soreness, particularly when moving your facial muscles. Avoid strenuous activities and keep your head elevated during sleep to help minimize swelling.

First Two Weeks: Most initial swelling and bruising should start to subside during this period. You may still have some residual swelling and minor discomfort.

2-4 Weeks: Most swelling and bruising should have resolved now. You may see some initial results as the threads stimulate collagen production and lift the skin. However, the full effects of the treatment may still need to be evident.

4-6 Weeks: Many individuals start to notice more significant improvements in skin tightness and texture as collagen production continues. You should be able to resume most normal activities at this point.

Long-Term: The collagen stimulation process continues for several months after the procedure. Over the next several months, you will likely continue to see skin firmness and appearance improvements.

Finally: Follow your provider's post-procedure instructions for the best possible results and minimize complications. Lynne Worthington from Fountain of Youth Medical told me to listen to my threads. I did just that.

Other instructions include:

  • Avoiding excessive sun exposure.

  • Refraining from certain skincare products.

  • Adhering to recommended follow-up appointments

Everyone's recovery process is unique, so your experience may differ from the outlined timeline. Contact your medical provider for guidance if you have concerns or experience unusual symptoms during your recovery.

In August, Fountain of Youth Medical is having a special.
