My Jowls Age me, so I'm trying PDO Thread Lifts.

After much research and anxiety over my ever-aging sagging jowls, I have decided to try PDO thread lifts. PDO (polydioxanone) thread lifts are a nonsurgical cosmetic treatment that can improve the appearance of sagging jowls. During a PDO thread lift procedure, threads made of a dissolvable material are inserted into the skin and used to lift and tighten the tissue.

The threads are inserted using a thin needle and placed in a specific pattern under the skin. Once in place, the threads create a support structure that lifts and tightens the skin, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

PDO thread lifts address mild to moderate sagging in the jowls and other facial areas, such as the cheeks and brows. The procedure typically takes about an hour to complete and can be done under local anesthesia.

One advantage of PDO thread lifts is that they are minimally invasive and require little downtime. Patients may experience mild swelling, bruising, or discomfort after the procedure, but these side effects typically resolve within a few days.

While PDO thread lifts can be an effective treatment for sagging jowls, it's important to note that the results are not permanent. The threads dissolve over time, usually within six to twelve months, and the skin will gradually return to its previous state. However, some patients may undergo additional treatments to maintain the results.

The best location for PDO thread lifts depends on the individual's needs and goals. PDO threads can lift and tighten various face areas, including the cheeks, jowls, neck, and brows. They can also be used to address wrinkles and fine lines.

We have many services that are cutting edge, anti-aging, and will give you the desired results you want.

As with any cosmetic procedure, it's essential to consult with a licensed and experienced medical professional to determine if PDO thread lifts are the right treatment option for your individual needs and goals. We recommend Lynne Worthington, Fountain of Youth Medical, Farragut, TN.
