Double Chin, is KYBELLA® right for me.
Does a fat destroyer cells, causing the fat to no longer store or accumulate fat, sound like an aesthetic goal you're looking for?
WHAT TO EXPECT WITH KYBELLA® Before starting treatment, your healthcare specialist (Lynne Worthington, Fountain of Youth Medical, Farragut, Tennessee) will examine the area under and around your chin to determine if KYBELLA® is right for you. Then, Lynne will tailor your treatment to the amount of fat under the chin and your aesthetic goals.
Let's summarize:
Kybella is a manmade form of a substance your body makes that helps to absorb fats. Deoxycholic acid works by destroying fat cells, when it is injected into the body.
Kybella injection is used to help decrease the appearance of fat that hangs below the chin, sometimes called a double chin.
HOW, IS KYBELLA® ADMINISTERED? You will receive multiple small injections under your chin at each treatment, and the injection process takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The exact number of injections will depend on the fat under your chin and your desired profile.
HOW MANY KYBELLA® TREATMENT ARE NEEDED?
Your healthcare at each treatment will help determine how many treatment sessions you need based on the amount and distribution of submental fat and your personal goals. Each KYBELLA® treatment session is given at least one month apart, and you should not receive more than six treatments. In clinical studies, 59% of patients received six treatments.
WHAT SHOULD I TELL MY DOCTOR BEFORE TREATMENT? Before receiving KYBELLA®, tell your healthcare provider about all of your medical conditions, including if you:
If you have had surgery on your face, neck, or chin
Have you had cosmetic treatments on your face, neck, or chin
Have had or have medical conditions in or near the neck area
Have had or have trouble swallowing
Have bleeding problems
Are pregnant or plan to become pregnant (it is not known if KYBELLA® will harm your unborn baby)
Are you breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed (it is not known if KYBELLA® passes into your breast milk)
Are you taking any medications, especially blood thinners

NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF:
While some people can reduce their double chins through exercise and changing their diet, others have double chins due to genetics. In such a case, you may want to try
Kybella to reduce your double chin.
Kybella is a popular alternative to surgical methods of getting rid of double chins, such as fat excision and liposuction. While these traditional methods require anesthesia and can cause bruising, infection, and scarring, by contrast, Kybella has fewer side effects and is less time-consuming.
We have a special this month, so call 865-392-1500 or contact us today for your appointment to get rid of that double chin permanently.
